Assistant Professor

 I am working here as an Assistant Professor since July 2015. My area of specialization is Chemistry. I completed my Graduation in Pure Chemistry from St Thomas College, Thrissur and along with my B.Sc , I have done two year diploma course in ‘Petrochemicals and Polymer Science’. After my graduation I joined for post graduation in Pure Chemistry in Karunya University, Coimbatore. Then immediately after the completion of my PG in 2013, I worked as an ad-hoc in MES Engineering College for four months. Then after the contract period, I went for M.Phil in the same university where I did my PG. I chose my research area in “Pyrene based Chemosensors for metal ions” under the guidance of Dr.R.Nandhakumar, Associate Professor, Karunya University. During my course of research, I presented my research works both national and international conferences. After completing my M.Phil., very immediately I got selected as a Project Assistant to DST-SERB project in Madras Christian College, Chennai. After five months of research in Madras Christian College, I joined in RCET family in the month of July, 2015. Teaching is my passion and I believe there is no substitute for a teacher….
