The Beginning

Royal College of engineering and technology started with four branches-CSE, CIVIL, ECE and AE&I Departments with an intake of 60 students each. The college was established by Royal Educational Society as Research Center.


First Batch Graduated

The first batch of the college was admitted in 2003 and graduated in 2007. College toppers of 2007 pass out batch were also honored.

New Branch opened

The campus added two additional branches – Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering – with an intake of 60 students each. In the same year, the intake of Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering were raised to 120 students respectively.

RCET Receives ISO Certification

The college was awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification from the Indian Registry of Quality Systems in 2012.

Decennial block Inagurated

Inauguration of new Mechanical Block opening and Royal Decennial celebrations.

Introduction of PG Courses

Two postgraduate programmes in Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering with intake of 24 students each.


EEE Department block Opens

Inauguration of new EEE Block.


Civil Department block Opened

Inauguration of new Civil Department Block.


New Administrative Office inaugurated

The inauguration ceremony of newly constructed Administrative Office, RCET (Room No. 102)
was held at 10.30 am on 19.05.2017. Sri. V.P. Salim (Chief Executive Officer) inaugurated the office.


Newly renovated office inaugurated

Inauguration of the newly renovated office of Management and Principal.


Over 4000 Engineering Graduates

We are very happy to inform you that 4000 engineers graduated from Royal.The Royal is proud to see many of its members serving most of the countries in the world. The Principal and the management are very glad at the outstanding performance of the alumni.

The Royal appreciates all the alumni who have taken their efforts by way of sharing their knowledge with their juniors and also in various placement activities. The association and the institution are thankful to them.
