The much-awaited Freshers’ Day – Rhythm 2025 was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy at Royal College of Engineering & Technology on Saturday, 4th October 2025. The event aimed to warmly welcome the first-year students to the RCET family and provide them a vibrant platform to showcase their talents.The formal function began with a prayer.Mr. Bineesh K. B. (AP, AS&H) delivered the Welcome Speech, setting the tone for the day.The Presidential Address was delivered by Ms. Asheera L., HOD (AS&H) and Program Coordinator, who encouraged the newcomers to make the most of their college life by actively participating in academics and extracurricular activities.The Inauguration and Inaugural Address was done by Dr. P. Suresh Venugopal, Principal, RCET. He shared valuable words of wisdom and inspired the students to embrace life with joy while reminding them of the importance of balancing academics. He beautifully explained the deeper significance of the word “Rhythm” in our lives. His soulful singing further captivated the audience, adding a special charm to the occasion.The inaugural session concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Rishla (AP, AS&H), expressing gratitude to all dignitaries and participants for their presence and support. The cultural session commenced with energetic performances by the First-Year students, followed by delightful presentations from different departments.Each performance was vibrant and reflected the creativity and enthusiasm of the students, making the event truly memorable. After the lunch break the celebrations continued with a DJ performance by Blank Minder (Aswin) adding a fun and festive end to the day. The entire program was well-organized, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere that helped the freshers feel truly welcomed into the RCET family
