8:30 am -6:00 pm (Monday –Friday, all Saturdays except 2th and 4th Saturdays)

Library Rules

Code of conduct in the library

Students and staffs must display their ID card when entering the library and issuing books. The ID card is not transferable.
Personal book and other personal belongings are not allowed in the library.
Stealing or damaging the library’s property or misbehaving with the library staffs shall be considered indiscipline.
In the case of losing an ID card, the matter should immediately be reported to the authority. The new ID card will be issued upon paying fine.
Reference books/ magazines/ journal are not issuable.
All the books should be returned on or before the date written on the date table. Absence from college will not be considered an excuse for not returning the book on time.
The book has to be produced in the library for renewal only one time.
If the book issued to a member is lost/damaged/disfigured, the member should replace two fresh copies of the same book with a fine.
A member is charged a fine of Rs 1 per day that an item is overdue.
Suppose a library member loses or abandons a book outside of the college campus, and the library staff later finds and returns the book. In that case, the member will be charged a fine determined by the library.

The number of books that can be borrowed for member and loan period is as follows.

Book Scheme

List of available books will be displayed on the Notice board of library.
Students can borrow books from library for 20 days ,On the due date students can renew the books by producing the same to the librarian .If renewed he/she can keep the book for another 20days (one time only)
